Job Responsibilities



  • Undertake the internal and external decoration to properties and associated areas, such as communal areas, community centres, etc.

  • Attend damp, mould and condensation (DMC) jobs and treat affected areas with wash and sterilisation treatment.

  • Redecorate with paint containing fungicidal additive and apply anti-condensation coating if required.

  • Ensure the customer is aware of the products used and the necessary precautions.

  • Assess possible causes of DMC and report potential solutions for action, including inspections of lofts as necessary.

  • Carry out works to alleviate future DMC issues—remove and relay damaged loft insulation, relay uneven loft insulation, add loft insulation as needed.


Candidate Requirements



  • Recognised formal apprenticeship qualification (or equivalent), such as City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in painting.

  • Ability to demonstrate talent and skills gained in similar roles.

  • Working knowledge and understanding of health & safety and COSHH legislation.

  • Full UK manual driving licence is essential, as you'll have use of a company van, complying with the standard requirements of our company insurers.
