Painter & Decorator

Job Overview -

• This is a painting and decorator job with Mitie on the Sellafield site which is under the CIJC working rule agreement. We cover reactive, project and routine painting schedules across site. The salary covered is based on a hourly rate and excludes site bonuses and travel pay.
Main Duties · Carry out filling and repairs to internal and external building fabric across the client's portfolio to the highest standards. · Complete internal and external redecoration works, applying a variety of products and paint finishes. · Erecting access equipment as required, with appropriate training and all necessary access plant and temporary screening as and when required to protect the environment and people. · monitor decorating material stock and request new stock as required, ensure all works are carried out within the approved budget and all painting and decorating equipment is best utilised and kept clean and reused. What we are looking for We are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to carry out internal and external painting and decorating, preparation works to walls and minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting. · The ideal candidate will hold a recognised qualification of a NVQ level 2 as a minimum. · Having completed a recognised apprenticeship is advantages but not essential.
