The role involves carrying out a wide range of painting and decorating works including surface preparation, patch repairs, application of paints and finishes and general upkeep of internal and external fabric. Working within a live healthcare environment, the painter will maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations while completing both reactive and planned maintenance tasks. As part of the wider maintenance team, the role requires working collaboratively with engineer teams and liaising with hospital departments when necessary. The painter must follow management systems help ensure all contractual KPIs are met, while complying with health and safety procedures and site requirements.

• Proven experience as a painter
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, finishes, and surface preparation
• Ability to work safely within a live environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
