Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Paediatrics and Neonates Core Trainee/ST1&2 (formerly SHO) to join our dynamic team in a leading healthcare institution. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their well-being and development through comprehensive assessments and management plans. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, gaining invaluable experience in acute and chronic paediatric conditions, neonatal care, and emergency situations, while also engaging in outpatient clinics and inpatient rounds. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, diagnosing and managing common paediatric illnesses, and collaborating with consultants to formulate treatment plans that reflect best practices and evidence-based medicine.
The ideal candidate will possess a medical degree and relevant postgraduate training in paediatrics, demonstrating a strong commitment to furthering their education and skills in this rewarding specialty. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively within a team, and a compassionate approach to patient care are essential attributes for success in this role.
