Full Job Description
Do you have a passion for respiratory care in children and young people? We are looking to recruit a motivated and hard-working individual who not only has an excellent clinical skill set but also the compassion and communication skills to foster efficient relationships to effectively care for the child, young people and their families who are experiencing respiratory conditions., To provide a specialist service to the children, young people as well as their parents & carers who are suffering with respiratory conditions within the acute trust. Within this post you will work as part of the respiratory Nursing team, supported by a Band 7 Team leader whilst working in collaboration with the Paediatric Respiratory consultant. The post holder will work across the UHCW and Rugby St Cross site.
The post holder will be involved in developing and delivering expert patient-centred care based on local and national guidance. Care delivered will include patient assessment, planning and implementing of specialist care, provision of advice/support and education in collaboration with the wider MDT including child protection/safeguarding teams.
The post holder will be involved in audit and research, assist in leading a small team, participate in network meetings and provide education to medical and nursing staff within the unit in order to improve quality and enhance care delivery.
