The post holder will work as a member of the Paediatric Physiotherapy team within the Greenwich Integrated Therapy Service. They will provide support and assistance to aid the Physiotherapists in assessment and management of children in the London Borough of Greenwich, across a range of locations.
+ Supporting the running and development of the Greenwich MOVE Programme by working with Families, Education and Therapy staff in the child's daily settings.
+ Supporting the Project Manager in project evaluation.
+ Delivering MOVE training to relevant parties across the borough of Greenwich as required.
Acting as a resource on issues pertaining to the MOVE programme.
The post holder will carry out specific therapy programmes with children aged 0-25 including to support their EHCP provision within schools. They will carry out specialised techniques and procedures under the direction of the Physiotherapist and work unsupervised at times.

The post holder will carry out specific therapy programmes with children aged 0-25 including to support their EHCP provision within schools. They will carry out specialised techniques and procedures under the direction of the Physiotherapist and work unsupervised at times., + To participate in the assessment of children including:
- information gathering through liaison with parents, carers, school staff.
- assessing change from baseline assessment
+ To deliver exercise programmes as delegated by the Physiotherapist, assessing progress, and making minor alterations as required.
+ To work, at times without direct supervision or presence of an Physiotherapist, and report back progress or problems to the Physiotherapist.
+ To seek advice from a qualified Physiotherapist regarding clinical decision making when necessary.
+ To treat children individually or in a group, in a variety of settings e.g., in schools, home, clinical settings and hydrotherapy pool.
+ To undertake skilled support work e.g. land-based/hydrotherapy. This will include planning and implementing sessions in the presence of a Physiotherapist.
+ To instruct children, parents and carers, providing direction and guidance on a range of Physiotherapy as part of their own clinical work or as directed by the Physiotherapist.
+ To use empathy, sensitivity and good interpersonal skills, to support parents and carers in implementing Physiotherapy advice and management programmes.
