Full Job Description
This job role gives the successful candidate the opportunity to work independently to deliver high-quality patient care by providing expert clinical support within the paediatric physiotherapy team, specifically with regard to the Musculo-Skeletal pathway and development of the CPIPs pathway. The post-holder will work closely alongside colleagues to ensure services run efficiently to give the service-user the best possible outcomes., Main duties of the job To contribute to providing and maintaining a high-quality Physiotherapy service to the paediatric population (0-19) and their families within the London Borough of Redbridge. To have oversight of the Physiotherapy provision across the Musculo-Skeletal caseload including supporting with the set-up of CPIPS clinics in Redbridge. To support with the development of this provision. To be able to also support with the delivery of physiotherapy across other pathways as required, within both the clinical and community settings. To be responsible for organising and prioritising own caseload in the day-to-day allocation of work, to deliver a high standard of physiotherapy assessment and treatment with a high level of expertise. To deputise when required in the team manager's absence and delegate tasks appropriately. To have organisational knowledge relating to Trust protocols and procedures and adhere to them. To be responsible for ensuring that all processes relating to PT
service provision are working well. To work in the context of a multi-disciplinary team including the services from Health, Education and Social Care. To improve integrated delivery to children and young people with SEN/Disabilities and using highly refined communication skills inform wider stakeholders of the remit and functions of the service.
