Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to be part of our band 3 paediatric phlebotomy team. You will complete venepuncture and cannulation and ECG's on medical and surgical paediatric patients at Royal Blackburn Hospital.

Completing venepuncture within an out-patient setting on both the Royal Blackburn and Burnley General Hospital settings.

Ideally, you will have a competency and experience in venepuncture, and cannulation and obtaining ECG's, but full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The service runs 7 days a week 07:30-20:30 on Blackburn site and 07:30-18:00 on the Burnley site, and the team will be flexible to work together to cover these requirements.

The successful candidate will be required to work across both the Blackburn and Burnley sites on a rota basis with the rest of the paediatric phlebotomy team.
