Paediatric Nurse (Bank)

We are looking for a Bank Paediatric Staff Nurse who wants to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team delivering a high standard of holistic family centred care to children and their families. As a Bank Paediatric Staff Nurse, you will be providing the highest standard of nursing care through ongoing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe and effective care. What you'll do:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised quality patient care.
• Ensure nursing practice is of the highest standard in line with Cromwell Hospital Policies, CQC requirements and NMC standards
• Respect people's rights to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Work with the multi-disciplinary team and collaboratively ensure appropriate care is provided.
• Participate in team and ward meetings.
• Supply and administer medication safely in line with hospital policy.
• Assess and support patients with their adherence and understanding of their medication.
• Be responsible for, and demonstrate personal professional development, maintain up to date clinical skills and ensure mandatory training is always current.
• Keep clear and accurate records, following NMC standards of documentation.
  
  NMC Registered - Registered Children's Nurse
• Post registration experience
• Ability to work well both in a team and to use your own initiative
• Ability to maintain professional communication
• Ability to complete drug calculations
