Full Job Description
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Charge Nurse to join our Paediatric Emergency care nursing team. If you feel you have the relevant experience and aptitude to join the Band 6 team at the Emergency Department in the Grange University Hospital this is a great opportunity for career progression.
The Band 6 Deputy Charge Nurse will work in close partnership with the Band 7 Clinical Leads and the multidisciplinary teams. You should be able support the ethos of collaborative working, minimising stress for both patients and staff, whilst maximising the provision of high quality evidence based emergency care.Relevant post registration clinical and managerial experience is essential, demonstrable at a Band 5 level in Emergency or AcuteCare. Resilience in this challenging & rewarding environment of care will be crucial.There are exciting and challenging times ahead - the post holder will be expected to deliver on strategic goals with regard to the safety, quality, performance and financial agendas.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
