Paediatric Clinical Research Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Paediatric Clinical Research Nurse to join the Research and Innovation Department at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As part of a dedicated research team, you will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of paediatric clinical research studies, providing children, young people and their families with access to innovative treatments and research opportunities. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, Principal Investigators, sponsors and external partners, you will coordinate studies from set-up to close-out, supporting participant recruitment, study visits, data collection and the delivery of high-quality, participant-centred research care in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research governance requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered children's nurse, or a registered nurse with relevant paediatric experience, to develop specialist research skills within a growing and ambitious service. You will be supported to expand your research knowledge while contributing to improved outcomes and experiences for children and young people through research and innovation. Join us and help shape the future of paediatric healthcare., As a Paediatric Clinical Research Nurse, you will support the delivery of clinical research studies involving children and young people across Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. Working within the Research and Innovation Department, you will ensure studies are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research governance requirements. You will identify, recruit and support participants and their families, coordinate study visits, undertake study procedures and collect high-quality research data. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, Principal Investigators and external partners, you will help deliver a diverse portfolio of paediatric studies and improve outcomes for children and young people through research.,

• Delivering paediatric research studies.
• Screening and recruiting participants.
• Providing specialist research care and support.
• Undertaking study assessments and procedures.
• Maintaining accurate study records and data.
• Supporting participant safety and protocol compliance.
• Liaising with clinical teams and research partners.
• Supporting audits, monitoring visits and inspections.
• Promoting research opportunities within paediatric services.
• Contributing to service improvement and research development.
