Full Job Description
- Paediatric Diagnostic Hearing Assessments (6 months -- 18 years), including: -Visual Reinforcement Audiometry -Play Audiometry -Pure Tone Audiometry -Objective testing: otoacoustic emissions, tympanometry, acoustic reflexes -Speech testing
- Paediatric Hearing Aid clinics (6 months -- 18 years) -Hearing aid fittings, reviews and repairs -Verification via real ear measurements and real ear to coupler difference -Ear impressions for all ages -Aided testing and use of questionnaires for hearing aid validation
- Work in accordance with national recommended procedures and local clinical protocols.
- Deliver person centred, family focused care and support shared decision making
- Provide supervision and support to junior staff as required
- Contribute to MDT working, service improvement and clinical governance
- Provide clinic cover across the service where needed

We are inviting expressions of interest from members of the Paediatric Audiology Team to support the delivery of diagnostic hearing assessments for newborn babies.
