Full Job Description
Bradley Stoke Community School, part of the Olympus Academy Trust, is seeking a highly organised, professional and proactive PA to the Headteacher & Operations Lead to play a key role in the smooth running of our school. This is a pivotal position providing high-level administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher, while also taking responsibility for the effective management and leadership of the main school office. Key Responsibilities As a central figure within the school, you will:
- Provide confidential, high-quality PA and administrative support to the Headteacher
- Manage the Headteacher's diary, communications, meetings and correspondence
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the school office, including line management of the Office Manager and support to the leadership team
- Act as the first point of contact for stakeholders, including parents, staff and external visitors
- Coordinate key meetings, prepare agendas and take accurate minutes
- Support school governance processes, complaints procedures and student-related administration (e.g. exclusions)
- Assist with HR processes including recruitment support and note-taking at meetings
- Lead on internal communications, newsletters and website/social media updates
- Coordinate whole-school events such as open evenings and awards ceremonies
- Contribute to marketing and promoting the school
- Ensure administrative systems are efficient, compliant and support teaching and learning, We recognise that candidates may choose to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools when preparing their application. We are looking for someone who: - Has experience providing PA or senior administrative support
- Has line management experience and strong leadership skills
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Can manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Is confident using Microsoft Office and digital systems
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and data protection
- Is adaptable, proactive and able to work independently
- Is committed to safeguarding and supporting young people
