PA wanted to help young adult around the house, attend appointments and access the community - RM-DCC-001 - Long Eaton- 8 Hours Per Week., We are looking for a friendly, empathetic person that is outgoing and likes to chat.

Ideally the individual is looking for someone that is understanding and won't judge them for the issues they have and the things they struggle to do.

We are also looking for someone who has flexibility as their need for care is always subject to fluctuate.

The individual would prefer a woman (or non binary) person who can help with cooking (ideally batch cooking for the week.), Help around the house with cleaning and certain chores such as hanging up the washing, doing the pots

etc, occasional help with tasks such as food shopping, help with travel and assistance to and from appointments, support with getting out the house and accessing the community, support with low impact exercises (ie. short walks, swimming) and occasional support with admin such as making appointments, contacting people etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Help with cooking (ideally batch cooking for the week)

About Me

I am a disabled and chronically ill young adult.

I also enjoy swimming and it is one of the only forms of exercise I can do due to my health but I haven't gone in a long time due to needing help to conduct such an activity, so I would love to make it a weekly habit with the help of a PA.

Other weekly activities I would like to make a habit with help are going for short walks and generally getting out of the house more.

Hobbies and Interests

Most of my hobbies are very creative, such as art, knitting, jewellery making, sewing, fun makeup and other crafts.

I am interested in alternative fashion and pop culture from other countries such as Thailand, Korea, Japan, China etc. I also enjoy swimming and short walks.
