Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK

I am seeking a PA to provide me with care when required. The support is to help me to continue living at home as independently as possible and to provide me with companionship. The position would suit someone who is seeking some regular hours, and who would be available to cover others' absences and emergencies., Someone who is flexible with the times and ways they can work.

Someone who enjoys interaction with elderly people and who will engage me in conversation and activity.

A punctual and reliable person is essential as the job will require working with other carers at certain times.

A person who respects the privacy and confidentiality of working in someone else's home.

A chatty and friendly person.

Must be happy to work with a dog in the home.
