Overseas Patients Co-ordinator

Hampshire Hospitals are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Administrator as part of the Private Patients Commercial Team, particularly to support the implementation of Department of Health and Trust policies relating to overseas patient visitors. The successful candidate will assess patient eligibility for NHS treatment, manage overseas visitor billing and debt recovery processes, and provide guidance on charging regulations across the Trust.

The role involves communicating face to face, by email and over the telephone, with patients and liaising with families and stakeholders where necessary, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring compliance with national guidance, confidentiality standards, and Trust policies. You will work closely with finance, contracting, business intelligence, and clinical teams to ensure efficient administration and effective communication across all areas of the service., Register all potential overseas visitors to the Trust following Trust policies and procedures, identify, assess and categorise any overseas visitors into chargeable, non-chargeable or reciprocal agreement patients against Department of Health guidance
