Outreach Worker (Volunteer)

Do you enjoy bringing people together, building relationships, and creating opportunities that have a lasting impact?, The Women & Families Resource Centre (WFRC) is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Outreach Worker to help us expand our reach and strengthen support for women and families across Wolverhampton., This is a unique opportunity to become an important member of a fast-growing charity and take ownership of community-based projects from idea to delivery.

You will help connect women and families with vital support services, build partnerships within the local community, coordinate volunteers, and contribute to projects that improve lives., Coordinate and support the delivery of community projects and initiatives.

Plan and organise activities that respond to the needs of women and families.

Develop referral pathways and strengthen links with local organisations and support services.

Build positive relationships with community groups, stakeholders, and partner agencies.

Help recruit, induct, and support volunteers involved in project delivery.

Gather feedback from service users to help shape future activities and services.

Assist with project planning, monitoring, reporting, and record keeping.

Support fundraising initiatives, awareness campaigns, and community engagement events.

Promote WFRC services through community networks and social media platforms.

Enjoys working independently while also contributing to a supportive team.

Has basic digital skills, including email, social media, and online platforms.

Is passionate about supporting women, children, and families.
