Outpatients Staff Nurse - 12 Months FTC

Join our specialist Outpatients team on a 12-month fixed term contract starting in February 2027. Do you have experience in plastics, aesthetics or reconstructive surgery and enjoy supporting patients before and after treatment? You will work alongside leading plastic surgeons, helping patients feel informed, reassured and well cared for throughout their treatment. This is an opportunity to develop your specialist skills and become part of a close, supportive team.,

• Assess patients attending the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Outpatients department and develop individualised care plans. Provide safe pre and post-operative nursing care, including patient preparation, observations and recovery monitoring. Undertake wound assessments, dressing changes and ongoing wound management in line with clinical guidance. Provide clear advice to patients about wound care, recovery, medication and when to seek further support. Recognise signs of infection, deterioration or complications and escalate concerns promptly to the appropriate clinician. Assist Consultants and the Plastics CNS during outpatient consultations, treatments and minor procedures.
