It is developing all the time and is now being used as a support mechanism for all kinds of content-based creations. Please note the use of AI is monitored and if applicants have used it then they are required to declare this., We are looking for an adaptable, enthusiastic, empathetic and friendly Outpatient Receptionist to join our busy outpatient services. This is a varied and important role, where you will be the first point of contact for patients, families and staff, helping to ensure clinics across Medicine and Surgery run smoothly and that patients receive a high standard of care. Working across a number of reception areas within the Trust (locations may change to meet service need), you will provide a welcoming and professional service while also supporting clinical teams with a wide range of administrative duties.,
- Greet and assist patients, families and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Prepare clinics and ensure patient outcomes are recorded accurately and in a timely way
- Update and maintain patient records using PAS/Careflow
- Respond to queries from patients, relatives and staff at all levels
- Liaise with clinic coordinators to ensure appropriate patient follow-up
- Arrange patient transport and liaise with porters when required
- Manage and action generic email inboxes
- Chase outstanding queries with departments, teams and clinicians across multiple specialties
- Scan clinical and paper documents into Evolve promptly
- Escalate issues to the line manager where appropriate
- Provide general administrative support to the service
