Full Job Description
Were growing our Criminal Justice Services and bringing in a range of roles that really matter. This work is about supporting people in the secure estate who have experienced trauma and sexual harm, and making sure support is actually accessible, not just in theory, but in practice.
Our Outspoken service delivers trauma therapy to residents across the secure estate, particularly those who have experienced ACEs or sexual harm. Its a space focused on safety, trust, and meaningful therapeutic work.
The Outspoken Service Manager will work alongside peers to lead the service, making sure staff feel supported and that what we deliver stays high quality and of good practice.
Our Outspoken Navigators are often the first point of connection. They support people in accessing the right help, whether thats through assessments, regular check-ins, lower-intensity support, or helping them find the right pathway.
At We Are Survivors, we care deeply about making sure male survivors can access support wherever they are. That includes the spaces that are often overlooked., You'll play a key role in supporting clients, managing communications and supporting Therapists. You will work closely with our criminal justice teams to ensure survivors have access to the right support. All staff have a thematic leadership area to expand the organisations knowledge in areas impacting male survivors and their loved ones. Full training on systems will be given.
We Are Survivors, are a survivor focused voluntary sector organisation that aims to create and facilitate safe spaces for male (including trans and non-binary individuals) survivors of sexual abuse, rape and sexual exploitation across Greater Manchester providing access to quality assured support. Our work is focused on developing ways for individuals to empower themselves to work through personal and sometimes painful issues, guided and supported by our trauma-informed team, following the trauma and recovery model.
