Out of School Club Assistant

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Out of School Club Assistant to join our friendly team, supporting children in a fun, safe and engaging environment before and after the school day. Read more about our provision here About the Out of School Club - Kings Priory School, Holiday club is open during the remaining 8 weeks of the year and you will work 22.5 hours per week during these weeks. We will agree the working pattern with you but this could be 3 fully days per week leaving the remaining 2 days off each week. The exact pattern will be agreed in advance allowing you to plan around your other commitments., You'll help create a welcoming and stimulating environment where children can play, learn and socialise. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and engaging children in a range of activities
• Supporting children's wellbeing and development
• Ensuring a safe, inclusive and positive environment
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Following safeguarding and health and safety procedures, Training and development opportunities - these posts are available due to internal promotions within our school
• Hours that fit around other commitments
• The opportunity to build valuable experience working with children
  
  You don't need to have worked in an Out of School Club before, what's most important is your enthusiasm and ability to connect with children.

  2 x Term Time - Monday - Friday, 22.5 hours per week, 37 weeks per year
• 1 x Term Time - Monday - Friday, 15 hours per week (afternoons only) 37 weeks per year
• Breakfast Club: 7.30-9:00am
• After School Club: 3:00-6:00pm
