• Please note the working hours for this role are 15:30 - 00:00 Monday - FridayThis role is mainly remote, but you will be expected to be at one of our sites at least once a week. This could be around the Midlands or the M5 or M6 corridor. Our current supervisors live around these regions; and when you meet it will be in Birmingham, so a willingness to travel to any of these locations is preferable.About the RoleReporting into the Logistics Services Manager, the successful Out of hours Distribution Supervisorwill deliver and monitor the out-of-hours plan across the national planning setup.You will drive the appropriate optimise initiatives within the OOH team and develop a strong dynamic OOH planning team to deliver
a sector-leading service.What you'll be doingIn this role, you as the successful Out of hours Distribution Supervisorwill be carrying out the following duties and responsibilities (not exhaustive)Delivering comprehensive reports and communicationsBecoming the go-to problem solver for our stakeholders operating Nationally out of hoursManaging and delivering exceptional service for our internal and external customersLeading your team's health and safety obligations for each otherIdentifying talent and manage succession plans for teamProviding supporting information and comprehensive reports to the logistics teams highlighting any key improvements that can be deliveredReacting to change in a timely and cost-effective mannerDeveloping and maintaining relationships with key external and internal stakeholdersFully supporting national initiatives or projects when requestedWhat we are looking forWe are looking for someone who is:Able to handle situations in a, positive manner where conflict
