Full Job Description
- Conduct and organize the Orthopaedic Clinical and the wider team within theatre, which include the smooth running of the theatre lists and organizing booking forms and assisting sessions in theatres
- Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department, which include Endoscopy, General, Orthopaedics, Gynae, ENT, Recovery and Anaesthetics
- Promote effective clinical risk management and governance within the department, including safety and risk management, quality improvement and ensure policies and procedure, to enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Have extensive knowledge required for dealing with audits and equipment.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and associated equipment
- Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all members of the MDT , Consultants and Patients - Enthusiastic and motivated with a strong "can do" attitude that replicates your own desire to succeed
- Co-ordinate activity and be responsible for patient care and safety
- Be instrumental to the patient experience, ensuring seamless, personalised care
- Apply your knowledge and skills in assessment, care planning and delivery
- Champion a supportive, enabling working culture on the ward, promoting staff safety and education
- Have SFA or SCP experience
