Safeguarding Adults Occupational Therapist Join Oxfordshire County Council and help us deliver adult social care differently. As part of our Safeguarding Adults Team, you will play a key role in protecting adults at risk by triaging safeguarding concerns and undertaking safeguarding enquiries relating to care providers across Oxfordshire. Using a strengths-based approach, you will work collaboratively with individuals, families, health professionals, care providers and community organisations to promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes. You will assess risk, apply relevant legislation and professional practice standards, and help ensure safeguarding concerns are managed effectively and proportionately. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist who is committed to improving lives and supporting people to remain as independent as possible. You will be adaptable, compassionate and an effective communicator, with a strong understanding of
safeguarding, professional practice and person-centred support. HCPC registration and a commitment to RCOT professional standards are essential. help shape the future of adult social care., Role Summary As an Occupational Therapist within Oxfordshire County Council's Safeguarding Adults Team, you will help protect adults at risk by assessing safeguarding concerns, managing risk and undertaking safeguarding enquiries relating to care providers. Working collaboratively with individuals, families, health colleagues and partner organisations, you will use a strengths-based approach to promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes while ensuring statutory safeguarding responsibilities are met.
