Full Job Description
- Champion an Interdependent Safety Culture: Lead by example in safety, build an interdependent safety culture where every team member is actively involved in identifying and mitigating risks. Champion the adoption and effective utilisation across the site of a L'Oreal EHS Tool to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in safety performance.
- Own the Order-Preparation Department: You'll take full ownership of the Order-Preparation operations covering D2B picking and D2C pick and packing. Setting the strategic direction for the team and ensuring alignment with overall Distribution Centre objectives. This includes responsibility for resource allocation, labour budget management, and performance reporting.
- Foster Team Growth and Development: Develop and empower your team by providing coaching, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment where team members feel valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their full potential. This includes regular performance feedback, skills development initiatives, and succession planning.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Continuously analyse current department performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. This includes working with the other L'Oreal DC's to share best practices, exploring new technologies with our suppliers, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Develop a Long-Term Vision: Anticipate future challenges and opportunities, developing proactive, long-term plans to ensure the department's success. This includes forecasting resource requirements, implementing scalable solutions, and building a resilient and adaptable team.
