Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two project managers to support delivery of the Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland Obesity Pathway Innovation Programme (OPIP). OPIP is a high profile nationally funded programme that brings together a whole pathway approach to the improvement of obesity care for local people, from early intervention in neighbourhoods through to highly specialist support. The posts are offered on a fixed term/secondment basis until 30 April 2029., The key responsibilities of the Project Manager role:
- Co-design a highly effective strategy and develop detailed plans for the delivery of allocated projects
- Direct, design and implement delivery of allocated projects, ensure delivery of the outcomes set out in the project and identify any current or future resources
- Support the development of rigorous evaluation and performance monitoring throughout planning and implementation
- Work in partnership with appropriate governance arrangements for the project
- Flexibly respond to emerging risks or issues
- Make recommendation on future ongoing work and associated resource requirements
- Manage delegated project budgets
