Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Ophthalmic Imaging team in University Hospital Southampton Hospital as one of our Ophthalmic Imaging Assistants who will need to have the following:
Provide a range of Ophthalmic imaging and Visual Field measurement for the Eye Unit Out-patients / in-patients and people attending Eye causality at UHS. There is also an expectation to help cover our satellite clinic in Lymington New Forest Hospital on rotation.
To undertake specialised measurements of the internal and external eye using a variety of equipment. Visual field assessments using the appropriate choice of equipment.
To undertake specialised imaging of the eye, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) for clinical purposes.
Maintains clinical records in relation to all procedures carried out.
