Ophthalmic Administration Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen at SWBH NHS Trust for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Booking Coordinator to join our dynamic and dedicated medical retina and glaucoma team in the Ophthalmology Group at the Birmingham Midland and Eye Centre., To provide administrative and clerical support to the work of the medical retina service. Dealing and managing complex 18 week pathways and RAG rated pathways and ensuring patients are seen and treated within timeframes. working closely with the clinical team and patient administration manager to support capacity and demand. Thrive to providing excellent patient experience. Answering all phone calls for the glaucoma service therefore working as part of a team is essential.

We are looking for a innovative, enthusiastic team player who is well organized and motivated to join our team. The role will contribute to improving the care and experience of medical retina patients treated within our Trust.

You must enjoy working in a busy environment and be able to priorities your own workload. You will need good interpersonal skills, be IT literate and able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
