Full Job Description
Job Description: This is a varied role with plenty of opportunity for growth and development within an experienced team. You'll be working within a busy port-based terminal environment, carrying out a number of different tasks each day. Responsibilities:
- Load trucks
- Work on the jetty
- Conduct stock control using manual tank dipping
- Operate heavy machinery such as Fork Lift Trucks
- Enter tanks (confined space work)
- Use the terminal's automation systems
- Respond to emergencies
- Housekeeping duties
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements
- Work well within the team
- Be flexible with working hours
- Report any issues to line supervision
Previous experience in an operator role preferred - Valid Fork Lift Truck license
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Team player
- Flexible approach to working hours
