Operator

We are looking for Senior Operator to join our team in Boston.

What will you get to do?

The successful candidate will work as part of an experienced team and help cover all aspects of manufacturing of timber, sheeted and MDF products from across a range of specialised production lines. We process the raw materials into finished goods of a high standard that are distributed from site directly to our customers.

From setting and operating high-tech specialised machinery such as bandsaws, planers, in line cross cutting machinery, automated and manual machinery whilst maintaining the high safety and quality standards that we promote and set. The successful applicant should have the ability to account for materials in/out via our operating systems.

In addition to this the successful applicant may be required to operate a front lift and side lifting MHE's - full onsite training will be provided.

What is the job that awaits you?

To embrace and promote a strong safety culture whilst maintaining high safety standards and working in accordance to site safety rules and SOP's.

Carry out daily safety checks, risk assessments and audits and have the ability to record and escalate findings to the relevant person(s)/departments Shift Leaders or Managers.

Have a good understanding of quality standards and how to rectify any issues that may arise.

Quality responsibility in the production environment, ensuring that high standards are maintained throughout production.

Documentation control and task checks are completed in line with SOP's.

Operate the barcode and label application machines.

Operate MHE to safely move products to and from the production lines, ensuring that the correct materials are picked and the finished goods are stored in the correct locations in our distribution warehouses.

To manufacture products in line with CAD drawings ensuring that company and customer requirements are met.

Strive to achieve and exceed the company's performance related metrics.
