Soft FM Operations ManagerSalary is £36,000 to £40,000, Dependant on Experience40 Hours Per WeekMonday to FridayShifts are 08:30 to 16:30Location is Haywood Community Hospital, Stoke On Trent, ST1 5NQJoin us in making a difference to patient care through exceptional service delivery. We are looking for an accomplished OperationsManager to lead Soft FM operations at Haywood Community Hospital, overseeing a wide range of essential support services that directly impact patient, visitor and staff experience.This high profile leadership role requires a dynamic and commercially minded professional with strong operational management experience, exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to inspire teams to deliver outstanding results.If you have a proven background in facilities management, healthcare support services, or a similarly complex operational environment and are passionate about driving performance, innovation and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from
you.What You'll Do:Lead and drive operational excellence across multiple Soft FM services, delivering continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service performance, efficiency and staff engagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, supporting contractual delivery, service development discussions and performance reviewsWork closely with operational supervisors and management teams to identify risks, resolve issues and implement opportunities for service improvement and business growthAnalyse operational and financial performance data, using insight and trends to drive measurable improvements and inform strategic decision makingManage operational budgets, monitor financial performance and ensure effective cost control whilst delivering contractual and business objectivesProvide effective leadership of a diverse workforce, overseeing recruitment, succession planning, performance management, training and employee engagement initiativesEnsure full
compliance with contractual requirements, statutory obligations, health and safety legislation and company policies, promoting a culture of safety, quality and continuous developmentWhat You Bring:Experience of working in a management role.Proven track record of leading, managing and developing a teamPeople management skills including general HR skills in recruitment, training and managing employee performance including disciplinary and grievance procedures.Good numerical, interpersonal and communication skills, must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communicationManagement knowledge of health and safety and food safetyAble to work on own initiative and drive service standardsAble to analyse problems analytically, develop opportunities and implement innovative solutionsProven experience of managing client relationshipsExperience of working within PFI environmentExperience of working with Healthcare Qualifications in, HSWA, IOSH and COSHH, Food safety qualification
