Pay Rate: £27, 167.85 Grade: RCS O Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm Location: Burton-on-Trent - DE13 0BB We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Operations Support Administrator to join our team at our Burton upon Trent site. This is a key role supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our bonded warehouse, with responsibility for managing duty-related movements, HMRC documentation, compliance reporting and operational administration. Working closely with site management and operational teams, you will play a vital role in ensuring full adherence to HMRC regulations, maintaining accurate records and supporting the efficient running of the site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with bond administration, customs or logistics administration experience who thrives in a fast-paced and compliance-driven environment. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

  • Take ownership of all duty-related movements into and out of the bonded site, ensuring accurate processing of customs documentation, duty payments and HMRC reporting requirements
  • Ensure full compliance with HMRC regulations, customs procedures and bonded warehouse requirements, protecting the site's bond licence through robust controls and governance
  • Maintain high standards of document control and data reporting, supporting operational compliance with statutory obligations, company policies and audit requirements
  • Support the Stock Admin Manager with cost tracking, budget monitoring and financial reporting, including updating weekly site outturn files with actual costs and latest forecasts
  • Provide administrative and compliance support to the Site Management Team, delivering excellent service to internal and external customers and undertaking any other reasonable duties as required.
  • THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
  • Previous experience in a Bond Administrator, Customs Administrator or similar bonded warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of duty movements, bonded stock controls and HMRC compliance requirements.
  • Experience using HMRC/GOV.UK systems and customs-related documentation, with the ability to process duty orders and maintain accurate records
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience using Warehouse Management Systems
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling duty-related transactions and compliance documentation
  • Sound understanding of warehouse operational processes, particularly Goods In activities, with the ability to work effectively with operational teams and internal stakeholders
