Full Job Description
- To produce engine components through numerous special process functions controlled by the OEM (Overhaul Engine Manual) & SPM (Standard Practices Manual)
- To Deliver a Quality Product on time to internal and external customers
- To ensure production flow is maintained at all time
- To work in accordance with the company's quality procedure: European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part-145 Requirements
- To follow strict EHS guide lines in all aspects of shop floor safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- To liaise with internal departments to ensure effective processes are used in a timely manner which supports their operations
- Willingness to operate collaboratively with all departments in a shop floor teaming environment
Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively interpret detailed documented work instructions - Team player with flexible approach and a positive attitude
- The willingness and ability to follow an effective training plan in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability Desired Characteristics:
- Forklift truck licence
- CAD experience
- Experience working in a large-scale production/materials and warehousing environment
- Previous working knowledge of SAP or an equivalent ERP system
- A demonstrable desire to learn and grow with advances in technology
- A good understanding of Lean tools and working practices Flexible Working
