Are you an exceptional organiser with a passion for sport, young people and high-impact programmes? We are seeking an Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in the delivery of our BIG 3 Programme (rowing, karate and volleyball), an ambitious initiative that provides students across The GORSE Academies Trust (GORSE) with outstanding enrichment opportunities. About the role This is a dynamic and varied role where you will lead the operational delivery of the BIG 3 Programme across multiple trust establishments. You will:

  • coordinate weekly sessions, fixtures and training across sites
  • manage logistics for events, competitions and trips
  • ensure safeguarding, compliance and risk management processes are robust
  • oversee budgets, bookings, transport and equipment
  • track participation and produce clear, impactful reports
  • communicate effectively with staff, students, parents and external partners
  • promote the programme through newsletters and social media
  • This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving and wants to contribute to something meaningful at scale. What we are looking for We are looking for someone who:
  • has experience managing operations, logistics or programmes across multiple sites
  • is highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused
  • has strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • can manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes
  • is committed to safeguarding and supporting young people
