Operations Manager

performance Oversee field engineering activities including scheduling utilisation performance and reporting Ensure site work materials and outstanding actions are effectively managed through to completion Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks waste rework and inefficiencies Apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles to support business growth Manage warehouse stock control logistics and material availability processes Improve stock accuracy and drive effective use of ERP MRP and warehouse management systems Coach and develop managers supervisors and operational teams Support recruitment workforce planning succession planning and employee development Monitor operational KPIs including productivity labour utilisation delivery quality and stock performance Work closely with senior leadership to improve operational efficiency profitability and customer satisfaction Promote a strong health and safety culture across all operational areas Ensure compliance with

company procedures quality standards and relevant legislation Support digitalisation automation and system improvements where operational benefits can be achieved Qualifications & Requirements - Operations Manager Previous senior operational leadership experience within engineering manufacturing industrial services or a similar environment Strong people management experience with responsibility for managers and supervisors Proven track record of improving operational performance and business processes Practical understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies Experience using ERP MRP or similar operational systems Strong commercial awareness with experience managing productivity labour utilisation and operational costs Good understanding of health and safety within engineering or manufacturing environments Experience leading change and improving team performance within a growing business Strong communication leadership and problem solving skills Ability to
