Is operating effectively in a warehouse environment one of your strengths? Is coordinating large teams and ensuring you run a safe and efficient operation a day-to-day occurrence for you? Do you find building strong and sustainable relationships with stakeholders a habit? If so, we are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join us, on a full time, permanent basis, to be based out of the Corby site Mon to Fri 8am to 4.30pm.

The salary on offer will be up to £55,000. We also offer 25 days' holiday (including bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You'll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other benefits.

What you'll do on a typical day:

-Take full operational accountability and responsibility for your site, effectively managing your time to ensure a safe and efficient service
-As a true people manager, you will focus on ensuring that your colleagues receive the right level of support, coaching and development
-Manage the relationship between XPO, our customers and our suppliers, constantly communicating across various stakeholders
-Ensure that all teams are aligned, operating to XPO standard policies and procedures
-Support the General Manager with adherence to all compliance and legal obligations with a huge emphasis on safety, deputising in their absence
-Assist with executing the daily plan for all shipments and inbound receipts, with a keen eye on resource available at site and keep the customer updated
-Working closely with the onsite customer on a day-to-day basis, you'll support with period reviews and customer presentations
-Provide leadership and guidance for your team to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication

-Ideally you will already be a Distribution/Operations Manager working in or having experience in a 3PL environment within the consumer goods sector, looking to prove yourself in a complex, large scale and diverse operation.
-A People manager and leader with a collaborative approach to achieving results
-Process driven
-You will have a track record of providing solutions to problems and delivering results in a fast paced environment
