Job objectives and responsibilities · We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage compliance & safety. · You should be capable of delivering the highest level of service for the client, answering queries, reporting any defects, and keeping them informed of site activities. You will also be required to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping a log of inspection reports and remedial work logged. · You will require capability in Excel & Word. Ability to use internal CAFM & Portal systems, full training will be supplied. · You must have good verbal and written communication. · The ideal candidate would have an experience within a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment. You should also have knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working and a Good Understanding of RAMS. Main duties
  • To assist the Operations Team and Account Director in ensuring compliance & safety across the estate
  • To work collaboratively with the client, engineering and support teams to meet all contract requirements, KPI's and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Work with planning team to ensure remedial preventative planned maintenance tasks are completed & linked ot the Assets
  • Working with the Operations Team in preapartion for the annual RISQ Audit, to prepare all documentation required to carry out.
  • Take a proactive approach to customer care, resolving day to day issues and escalating where required.
  • Maximise utilisation of CAFM system to manage service delivery, record retention and reliability of management report data.
  • Using the Mitie FMR to provide the client with clear knowledge status of all Assets.
  • Take a proactive approach to driving continual improvement through innovation to improve quality, efficiency and process.
  • To report all incidents, accidents and near misses including non compliant or unsafe conditions at the earliest opportunity.
  • Complete regular task audits to provide safety and quality assurance.
  • Carry out investigations and provide findings as required.
  • To proactively engage with the team to brief, consult and obtain feedback, addressing concerns and resolving issues.
  • Ensure the team are suitably trained and competent in tasks being delivered, including any gaps in learning are resolved.
  • Person Specification · IOSH Managing Safely (will be provided) · Experienced in people management · Experience in all MS applications · Must have ability to professionally liaise with client representatives and management. · Be able to organise work and liaise with operational teams to deliver · Good general knowledge of health and safety, facilities services and operational practices. · Sound understanding of company procedures and practices · Good time management skills · Carrying out site inductions to any third parties attending to carry out works on our behalf.
