Operational Support Officer

Whether you're supporting day-to-day operations, working night shifts, managing stores, or escorting contractors, your role will be essential in maintaining a safe, secure, and respectful environment. What You'll Be Doing As an OSO, you'll be the face of professionalism and safety. Your responsibilities may include:

• Welcoming and managing visitors and official guests
• Monitoring security systems and conducting safety checks
• Supporting operational teams across Gatehouse, Control Room, Visits, and more
• Escorting contractors and ensuring compliance with prison protocols
• Managing stock and uniform distribution in Stores
• Responding to incidents and maintaining vigilance during night shifts
