experience and perspectives.The successful Operational Buyer will ideally have:2-3 years' experience within a procurement or purchasing environment.Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.Good interpersonal and team-working skills.A proven track record of achieving savings and delivery targets.Experience working within a complex engineering or manufacturing environment.The ability to communicate professionally and confidently with internal customers and suppliers.A resourceful, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.CIPS Level 4 or equivalent qualification, or equivalent procurement experience.Experience supporting the sourcing side of New Product Introduction (NPI).Experience of outsourcing and Continuous Improvement projects.Good understanding of MRP systems and operational purchasing processes.The CompanyThe successful candidate will join our client, a leading developer and manufacturer of sophisticated vacuum products, exhaust management systems
