Join a

friendly, experienced Out of Hours team at a fully equipped, forward-thinking hospital in Suffolk. You'll work alongside a dedicated ECC RVN, with receptionist support during day shifts, and have the clinical freedom to manage a varied emergency caseload.

Why this role?

• Up to £68,000 DOE on an annualised-hours basis


• 1:4 working pattern


• Two weekend day shifts, 7 nights and 2 bank holiday days


• Three weeks off between rota blocks


• Average 26.25 hours per week, offering an excellent work-life balance

The role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an

experienced ECC Vet looking for a rewarding OOH position without a traditional full-time rota.

You'll manage

emergency consultations, medical work-ups, inpatient care and surgical cases, with the support of an experienced ECC team. The practice is well equipped to provide a broad range of medical and surgical services, giving you the tools to deliver high-quality care when it matters most.

And there's more to look forward to - the team is due to move into a

brand-new, purpose-built hospital by the end of 2026, featuring an onsite CT scanner, dental X-ray and dedicated species-specific wards.

About you

We're looking for an experienced

MRCVS, ideally with

3-4+ years' experience, who is confident managing emergency medical and surgical cases. You'll have strong clinical skills, good decision-making ability and excellent communication skills, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient and client care.
