We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a permanent On-Site Plumber to join Amey, supporting our Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) contract on-site at Oldbury Power Station, Bristol (BS35 1RQ)
The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours over a 4 day week, Monday - Wednesday 07.15 - 17:00 and Thursday 07:25 - 17:00.
Amey delivers essential workplace and Facilities Management services across 17 nuclear sites and regional offices nationwide, supporting the safe decommissioning of the UK's first-generation nuclear sites. This is highly regulated, purposeful work that plays a vital role in protecting people and the environment, while offering long-term career security within a growing and nationally important sector.
What you will do:
Routine and non-routine maintenance, installation and repairs of pipework, sanitary.
Mains water supply repairs.
Fault finding Identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
Inspections, Audits and Risk Assessments.
Service, maintenance and installation of vented and unvented water heaters.
Assist with other routine maintenance tasks which may not be plumbing related.
