Full Job Description
We are an Adult Education service delivering courses across a range of subjects from basic computer courses, functional skills English and Maths to painting and drawing and many more within the adult learning centres and community-based venues. The successful candidate will manage a small team of administrators and provide premises management to our adult education centres. They will manage a busy administrative function, helping learners with enrolment, maintaining education records and carrying out data entry and auditing responsibilities. In addition, this role will be responsible for ensuring that the centres are a safe and welcoming environment for the service users., 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) including evening cover on a rota basis and occasional weekend work. As a keyholder for our buildings there will be an expectation that the successful candidate will help with locking and unlocking our sites on a rota basis. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, experience of managing an administrative function and have outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills. Candidates will need to have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Training will be provided in the departments management information system (MIS), however, experience of databases or data entry will be an advantage. You will also be required to undertake a standard disclosure and barring check Candidates will need to provide evidence of the following qualifications (or equivalent);
- Level 2 Maths
- Level 2 English
- Level 3 Management
- Level 3 ICT.
