Spire Manchester is looking to recruit an ODP/Anaesthetics & Recovery Practitioner, welcoming applications from newly qualified and experienced professionals, to join our warm and friendly theatre team. This opportunity is open to ODPs and Registered Nurses (RNs must hold a recognised Anaesthetics qualification) who are keen to work in a modern, well-equipped private hospital with a varied elective caseload. - To provide exemplary planned care for patients and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre.
- Prepare the anaesthetic room for surgery in relation to equipment and supplies required for specific procedures.
- Ensure the Patient Record is completed in a timely and accurate way
- Perform anaesthetic duties across a range of specialties.
- Supporting in assessing patients health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet the patients needs in an extremely busy department
- Prepping the recovery bays and of course, looking after patients after their surgery
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
- Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner
- HCPC registered ODP or NMC (including the Anaesthetic module) registered Nurse
- Working in teams and withminimum supervision
- Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration/practitioner qualification and additional training.
