Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join our in-patient Occupational Therapy team. This post will involve working flexibly, including some weekend working.

This post enables the successful candidate to work autonomously to manage an agreed caseload of patients under supervision, providing a high standard of Occupational Therapy intervention and service delivery. The postholder will need to be able to plan and implement interventions using a knowledge of Occupational Therapy best practice and clinical reasoning, analysing contributing clinical, social and environmental factors., The role of the Assistant Practitioner is to deliver a high quality, caring and compassionate patient care. The post holder will be undertake assessment, implementation and evaluation of patient care needs for a defined group of patients under the indirect supervision of a registered professional in their specialist area. The post holders are required to work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of care within South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.
