Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has come up to join Kisimul's Occupational Therapy team. We have a vacancy for an Occupational Therapy Assistant and the purpose of this role is to support individuals to develop their ability to perform and participate in activities of daily living, as part of Kisimul's Meaningful Life Model.
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will follow therapy plans and carry out interventions with the individuals within the service. You will do this across a variety of environments under the guidance and supervision of the Occupational Therapist. You will also provide role modelling and coaching to support colleagues to carry out therapeutic approaches.
In this role you will provide a service to the individuals who attend Swinderby School and you will work across both the school and residential setting. You will have the opportunity to build long term relationships with individuals and every day you will be able to see the impact that your support has on their learning and quality of life.
