Full Job Description

The Occupational Therapist provides specialist assessment and therapeutic interventions to support recovery, independence and wellbeing for adults receiving inpatient mental health care. Working within the multidisciplinary team, they promote engagement in meaningful activities, assess functional abilities, support discharge planning and help patients develop skills needed for successful community living., The Occupational Therapist provides specialist assessment and therapeutic interventions to support recovery and independence for adults receiving inpatient mental health care. Key duties include undertaking functional assessments, delivering individual and group interventions, promoting engagement in meaningful activities, supporting discharge planning, working within the multidisciplinary team, and facilitating safe transitions back into the community.
