Occupational Therapist (9 Month Fixed term Contract)

Working alongside a dedicated team you will be working at a medium and low secure services providing specialist treatment programmes for service users who have been detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) and have a history of offending behaviour. Under supervision, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating evidence-based group and individual programmes. You will create individual rapports with service users to empower recovery., In this role, you will work under supervision to provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and plan, review, and facilitate evidence-based group and individual programmes. You will be part of a dedicated team at Chadwick Lodge, helping service users develop their recovery skills through specialist treatment programs. You will receive guidance and training opportunities to advance your career. Your responsibilities include maintaining contemporaneous records and adhering to professional and service standards. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to research, plan, and evaluate specific projects while supporting the planning, evaluation, and audit of clinical pathways and protocols.
