Occupational Therapist

Are you a looking for an opportunity to develop your clinical and professional skills as an Occupational Therapist as part of a well-established MDT providing a range of rehabilitation services?, Our integrated, multi-disciplinary team provides community assessments and goal focused rehabilitation to support patients in our Pathway 2 bedded care facilities, patient's own homes and care homes.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills of specialist therapy assessment and treatment in a community setting, alongside developing additional generic skills to provide a comprehensive assessment to a variety of complex patients.

As part of the role there will be a need for travel across the High Peak and the surrounding area, therefore access to a vehicle is essential.As a clinical employee it will be your responsibility to ensure that your behaviour and values reflect those set out in the DCHS Way.

We have exciting, substantive opportunities for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist with a patient-centred approach and a passion for rehabilitation to work within the Community Therapy, Bedded Care Therapy and Rapid Response services with an opportunity to be involved in therapy triage.

Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire , as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.

We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people's own homes and via virtual consultations.
