Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join Nottingham CityCare's Integrated Respiratory and Home Oxygen Service to work 37.5 hours per week in a variety of settings.

The Integrated Respiratory and Oxygen Service are a very proactive, forward thinking and dynamic team which provide evidence-based assessment and follow up for individuals requiring urgent and routine respiratory management and provision of oxygen therapy in the community as well as rehabilitation and education in both home and clinic settings.
The team provide an acute response service alongside chronic respiratory condition management including pulmonary rehabilitation across health and social care sectors. The team provide long term and ambulatory oxygen therapy to a multitude of long-term conditions. The team is based at Aspect House but work throughout Nottingham City.
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and conscientious Occupational Therapist with respiratory experience. The team would provide the successful applicant with the opportunity for postgraduate and specialist training to enable them to build on their current respiratory skills enabling them to support Respiratory patients to be independent in their community., You will undertake routine clinical management of patients with respiratory needs in an integrated manner within the service pathway. Within the wider service you will be involved in audit, development of practice and take an active role in case management. The service is engaged in the Pulmonary Rehabilitation accreditation scheme, and you will play an active role in achieving accreditation status for the team.
You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You must be able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively, also be able to work in an integrated manner and flexibly within the team and be confident in decision making. You must be willing to undertake specialist training as required. You will need to hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle for this role.
The Service hours are 7 days per week, 365 days per week between the hours of 8am and 7pm. The core hours are between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
