Full Job Description
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.,
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental needs to identify barriers to daily living
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that address functional goals like selfcare, work, education, and leisure .
- Recommend and provide adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, teaching clients how to use and integrate tools effectively
- Deliver therapy through individual and group sessions, employing methods such as therapeutic exercises, sensory integration, and coping skills training
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with caregivers, documenting progress, adjusting care plans, and advocating for clients within healthcare and social support systems
